La Coalición de Desarrollo de Acción Comunitaria de HBCU ( CDAC ) se desarrolló para ayudar a reunir a las partes interesadas, como HBCU, MSI (instituciones que sirven a las minorías), CDC (Corporaciones de Desarrollo Comunitario) y la Industria de Desarrollo Económico Comunitario. A través de iniciativas como Our Money Matters, HBCU CDAC ayuda a crear oportunidades económicas a largo plazo para los estudiantes de HBCU / MSI, las pequeñas empresas cerca de los campus y los residentes de la comunidad circundante en general.
